By kind permission of Lady Thatcher, who graced our Christmas drinks party with her presence, we post this picture of some members of the Cornerstone Steering Committee enjoying the Lady’s company. We should stress that this permission does not imply her endorsement of all Cornerstone’s views, but we are honoured, and grateful for it nonetheless. Her presence, as ever, transformed the party into an electrifying occasion, fuelled by Mrs Leigh’s excellent selection of homemade canapés. As Edward said to Lady Thatcher in his closing address: ‘Here you can be sure you are among friends!’
